Lunch on the Riviera in Antibes
Lunch on the yacht and lunch at a coastal restaurant need different plans. Choose the one you want before the Antibes route takes shape. A restaurant stop adds landing arrangements as well as time away from the boat.

Agree the format
Onboard lunch needs more than a handsome table in a photograph. Confirm the number of dining places, catering style, crew service and whether the food suits the available galley.

Agree the format
For an Antibes departure, a coastal restaurant may involve a tender, a reserved berth or no suitable access at all. The operator should verify that link instead of leaving the group to improvise from the water.
Space and service
A single organiser can keep arrival simple. Send one set of confirmed marina instructions and agree how late arrivals will be handled before anyone begins travelling to the port.
Ask whether the swim platform or tender is available for the planned activity. Equipment on board is not automatically included for unrestricted guest use, particularly when conditions change.
Choose a course with time for the table
With a full day from Antibes, you can give the cap time of its own or set a longer course towards the islands. Decide which matters most. The passage takes a different share of the booking in each plan.
Leave a margin for boarding, a skipper’s briefing and the return to the berth. An itinerary that consumes every minute in theoretical cruising time leaves little space for the reasons people came aboard.
What the Antibes offer should identify
Compare Antibes charter proposals on the same basis: actual yacht, duration, group size, departure and intended route. Otherwise a lower headline can conceal a different day.
Ask how fuel, catering, harbour charges and any repositioning are handled. A yacht based elsewhere may still be an option, but its movement to Antibes should not appear as a surprise later.
For a superyacht or several nights, request the full charter terms and applicable charges. Day use, overnight accommodation and quayside hospitality are different products, even on the same vessel.
