Boarding access and assistance
The route from Port Vauban to the yacht may include a long quay, a moving gangway and changes of level. Describe any mobility requirements before choosing a vessel.
Your Antibes charter, from boarding to return
Send the date, the people coming and your preferred part of the Riviera. We will work through the yacht and departure choices so your quote covers the trip you actually want.
- Your departure
- Antibes boarding point agreed in your proposal
- Your guests
- Include everyone joining the trip
- Your quote
- Charter duration, crew and the services you select
Trace the access route from arrival
Request photographs of the actual boarding arrangement and ask which areas can be reached without stairs. A broad saloon does not mean the route into it is suitable for everyone.
Allow time for assistance at embarkation. If the proposed yacht cannot meet the group’s needs, a different layout or berth is worth considering before the booking progresses.
The departure berth shapes the course
At Port Vauban, use the crew’s entrance and berth details. The harbour is large enough that an old-town meeting point and the yacht’s actual quay may be quite different places.
Explain the help required from quay to seat
- How far the guest can comfortably walk
- Steps, balance and handhold requirements
- Mobility equipment and its dimensions
- Toilet and seating needs during the outing
Confirm suitability before booking
At Antibes, suitability depends on both the yacht and its actual berth. Ask for current views of the boarding route and the spaces the guest will use. A larger vessel can have more internal steps rather than fewer. The operator needs to confirm the specific assistance available before you commit.
