Where to board in Antibes
At Port Vauban, use the crew’s entrance and berth details. The harbour is large enough that an old-town meeting point and the yacht’s actual quay may be quite different places.
Locate the correct gate and pontoon
The old town and Port Vauban make Antibes a recognisable starting point for a Riviera charter. The marina is extensive, so an exact berth is more useful than a general harbour address.
Confirm which entrance the crew wants you to use, the berth or quay reference and where a driver can stop. Guests arriving independently should receive the same instructions; walking around the wrong side of a large marina can consume the beginning of a short charter.
Arrange the approach
The route from Port Vauban to the yacht may include a long quay, a moving gangway and changes of level. Describe any mobility requirements before choosing a vessel.
Begin with an Antibes date, approximate party size and the kind of route you have in mind. If you are undecided between a motor yacht and sailing, describe the pace rather than guessing a model.
Inspect the path from quay to deck
Request photographs of the actual boarding arrangement and ask which areas can be reached without stairs. A broad saloon does not mean the route into it is suitable for everyone.
